Tron Helicopters 7.0 (700) Helicopter Kit : TR700-999
The Tron 7.0 offers pilots high demand features, simplicity in assembly, highly optimized flight performance, and ease of life design elements which together bring this 700 helicopter together as one cohesive package. Mechanical items such as an octo boom without the need for boom supports, paired with strong 2mm 100% carbon fiber frames, 12mm main shaft, 10mm spindle shaft, optimized servo and rotor head geometry, and well thought out wiring offer pilots a low parts count helicopter, deliver a kit that checks all of the boxes of desires. In flight performance is simply incredible thanks to focusing on minimizing weight where possible, precision CNC rotor head and tail parts for high quality virtually slop free assembly and durability, and optimized servo lay out and rotor head design that suits a wide variety of flybarless gyro systems available on the market. One can say that performance and flight feel are superb, but it's only when experienced in your hands that you can understand the difficulty to describe it in words.
The frame layout is built on a foundation of 2mm 100% carbon fiber upper and lower sections, which are separated via sacrificial break away parts in the event of a crash. Not only is assembly easy, but maintenance is as well thanks to carefully thought out wiring paths, easy access to all electronics, and removable mounting trays for your gyro, ESC, and receiver. Uniquely, the flybarless gyro mount features a custom dampening plate that is adjustable to help reduce harmonic vibrations mechanically before entering the gyro to further process and eliminate electronically. This unique element improves flight characteristics greatly by reducing mathematical errors that all gyros need to correct due to small vibrations that are sent into the gyro and accelerometers. The batteries are housed on an aluminum battery tray that feature a locking pin for simplicity in installation and quick swaps.
Trons' 7.0 rotor head is the heart to the models performance. Driven from the foundation of optimized servo geometry, the rotor-head further incorporates ideal geometry to suit any pair of servos and gyros on the market. In short, this delivers the feeling of predictability, comfortable feeling, and linear in flight performance. It's adjustable dampening houses swappable dampers to suit your needs as a pilot, and offers excellent results from 900rpm to upwards of 2400rpm.
The tail system of the 7.0 is built with a quality driven, simplistic concept, that delivers excellent tail authority even in the most demanding maneuvers. Thanks to its functionality, the tail assembly is quite resilient to vibration through out. Furthermore, the tail hub features dampers which additionally reduce not only noise in any maneuver, but lastly reduces vibrations in the model even more.
