The Futaba GY760R contains an extremely precise 3-axis heading hold gyro, a (T-FHSS/FASSTest) receiver and head speed governor for use in high performance RC helicopters. As an all in one unit, the GY760R is easy to install, and keeps wiring to a minimum. This allows a neater installation, whilst the simplicity and reduction in part count reduces the possibility of errors or failures. The GY760R is programmed using the dedicated GPB-1 programming unit either by connecting it directly to the programming port or alternatively connecting it to the trainer port on your transmitter to enable an assistant to make changes wirelessly as you fly, dramatically reducing the time it takes to fine tune your model.
Combined receiver, governor and 3-axis heading hold gyro
Easy to install and simple to connect
Compact and light weight package
The case is made from aluminium with a high quality anodic oxidation coating finish
Screw holes in the base of the unit allow simple and secure installation
To take advantage of the free firmware updates a CIU-2 or CIU-3 is required (sold separately)

Head Speed Governor
- Advanced and adaptive PID control loop (as used in the CGY750)
- Capable of governing head speeds from 700 to 4,000 rpm
- Suited to both Digital (1520uSec) and Analogue (1520uSec) servos
- Governor or Revolution limiting modes available
- Cutting edge control algorithm provides more consistent RPM governing
- Revolution sensor is compatible with the GV-1 and CGY750. The CGY760R also supports an optional back plate revolution sensor
- RPM data can be sent back to the transmitter as a telemetry function
Receiver Section
- FASSTest (18ch or 12ch mode) and T-FHSS Air transmission modes can be used (selectable using GPB-1)
- Diversity aerial (2 aerials are installed for improved signal security)
- Telemetry functions (Battery voltage, S.BUS sensor connected to S.BUS2 port and RPM data)
GPB-1 Program Box
- The GBP-1 is the programming box for CGY760R. It can be connected to the dedicated port on CGY760R, allowing you to check and change the settings at the press of a button.
- 128x64px LCD screen with backlight
- 4 Push keys and a beeper for easy operation
- Power is provided from CGY760R so no extra battery is needed.
- You can wirelessly adjust some settings through the trainer function of the transmitter, connected this to GPB-1 using a dedicated cable.
Programming / setup information:
The CGY760 can be programmed via a wire using the GBP-1 programmer box, or wirelessly using the GBP-1 and the trainer port on a Futaba transmitter. To do this, you set 2 of the trainer channels up in the transmitter so the GBP-1 can send setup information over them to the CGY760.
The 32MZ and the 16IZ transmitters support wireless setup without using the GBP-1 BUT you can only modify flight parameters, not setup things like servo direction, etc.
Changing base functionality of the CGY760 requires the use of the GBP-1 programmer.
One GBP-1 programmer can be used to setup multiple CGY760 flight controllers.
