This adapter makes it easy to connect a battery that uses an XT30 plug into a charger that has an XT60 socket instead of 4mm banana sockets.

For example, you fly an OMP M2 and use a modern charger such as the SkyRC B6AC Neo AC/DC Charger.

The charger doesn't have 4mm banana sockets like older chargers have. Instead it uses an XT60 socket.

The OMP M2 battery uses an XT30 connector, so you need this adapter to connect the battery to the charger.
